Farewell, Brian.
We said our final farewells to our close friend and colleague Brian Chalmers this past weekend.
Brian enriched the lives of everyone that knew him.
As an artist, his creations were always prominent, influential, and he always added that extra something that came from his soul. And he had a good one – and a kind heart to match. We’ll miss you, Brian.
Thomas Giulivo is a fellow artist who worked with Brian a few years ago. This is his tribute.

Brian will be sorely missed. His artistic contributions to the success of WMMS and other stations we owned were significant. His loss is untimely, undeserved, and a great tragedy. We ALL miss you, Brian.

As he would of said, “It’s been fun, it’s been wacky but it never was boring”…..Brian’s heart and soul went into his work. He was very thoughtful and kind. I am a blessed person to have Brian in my life as one of my best friends. The drawing shown drew special attention to me. A mutual friend of ours had been attacked in 2007 in a park in Parma walking her dog. The drawing of the female looks kind of like Chevonne. Somehow I know that they are sharing that cup of coffee now. It makes you stop and realize how short life can be. How all of us should appreciate the people in our lives and take time to tell them. Although tears still come, Brian, you will always be in my heart and bring a smile to my face.
I will miss you.
Peace
Susanne
