John, it was great speaking with you at your book signing down at Tower City last week and I’m glad to know about this newsletter / web-site. I have such great memories of WMMS from back in the 70’s and one Murray Saul bit from back in the day still makes me laugh. He ended his “Get Down” with “It’s national bee week so don’t forget to eat your honey”. I also remember hanging out down at Brookside Park during the summer on a Friday and Saturday night and EVERYONE had their radios tuned to WMMS. You can’t put a price on those memories. At that time, we had NO money, NO kids and NO responsibility but we had WMMS who understood our wants and needs.
